Your Role:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), in partnership with the Registered Nurse, is accountable for delivering and overseeing comprehensive nursing care tailored to specific age groups.
LPNs participating in a structured training program will engage in unit-based orientation and practice transition sessions under the guidance of a preceptor, utilizing established protocols for their primary responsibilities during training, with a pathway to independent practice following successful completion of the program.
Compliance with AdventHealth's Corporate Compliance Plan and adherence to all relevant local, state, and federal regulations is essential.
You will actively engage in exceptional customer service and maintain respectful relationships with all individuals.Your Contributions to the Team:
- Collaborates with the RN, patient, family, and healthcare team to review and implement the patient care plan on the assigned unit.
- Coordinates and implements patient care activities on the assigned unit to ensure high-quality care delivery.
Effectively communicates the care plan to other healthcare team members throughout the shift and during handover.
