Job Summary:
MedCare Pediatric Group, LP is seeking a dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our Home Health Nursing Team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering high-quality patient care and be able to work independently.
Responsibilities:
Deliver quality skilled care to the pediatric population in the home setting for 8-12 hour shifts
Enable child to remain at home with their family instead of an in-patient facility
Care for clients that have serious illnesses or disabilities may be recovering from serious injuries or extensive surgery
Assess clients' conditions during every visit, including taking vital signs, care and maintenance of gastrostomy tubes, seizure activity monitoring, tracheostomy care and maintenance, and/or care and maintenance of CPAP/BiPAP/ventilators
Qualifications:
Valid Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in Texas
6 months pediatric home health care as an LVN preferred but not required
Current CPR card, Driver's License, and Auto Liability Insurance
