We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in assisting with the daily patient flow of our clinic, working closely with our Radiation Oncologist, Dosimetrist, and Medical Physicist.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with patient treatment, including positioning patients and administering radiation therapy treatments
- Prepare treatment rooms, explain procedures to patients, and ensure accurate treatment delivery
- Collaborate with the Radiation Oncologist to develop treatment plans and ensure quality treatment delivery
- Maintain accurate records of procedures, including billing information and codes
- Perform daily treatment schedule coordination and ensure a safe, orderly patient care/treatment room
- Registration in good standing with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and the state of Arizona
- Meets all continuing education standards as they apply to registry eligibility
- Computer experience with EMR knowledge
- Ability to work in a private medical office setting, controlling machines and processes, inspecting equipment, and communicating effectively with others
