Job Title: Registered Nurse - Medical Management Unit

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical Management Unit team at SSM Health Ambulatory Care Center. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care to achieve optimal outcomes. You will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care to patients with various medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, developing individualized care plans to address their unique requirements.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs, lab results, and other relevant data to identify potential complications and adjust care plans accordingly.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement effective care plans, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health literacy and empowering them to take an active role in their care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices that enhance patient outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Missouri.
  • 2+ years of experience in a medical-surgical or critical care setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain a high level of productivity in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
