About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Android Application Developer to join our team at Walmart Global Tech. As a key member of our Social Commerce team, you will be responsible for designing and developing highly scalable and reliable Android applications that drive the next generation of affiliates and social commerce experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop Android applications that meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, following best practices and industry standards.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure high-quality code.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Android technologies and trends, and apply this knowledge to improve our applications.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of Android application development principles and best practices.
  • Proficient in Java, Kotlin, and React-Native.
  • Experience with Android SDK, including Fragments and Custom View Components.
  • Expert-level debugging and analysis skills using ADB.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related area, and 2 years' experience in software engineering or related area.
  • 4 years' experience in software engineering or related area.
