Job Summary:
The Night Auditor is a critical member of the Blue Sky Hospitality Solutions team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk and guest services during the night shift. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Management: Balance accounts from the day shift, manage front desk activity, and handle guest check-ins and check-outs.
- Customer Service: Ensure customer satisfaction by scheduling wake-up calls and other concierge activities according to guest preference, handle customer requests and complaints, and provide exceptional service to guests.
- Documentation and Reporting: Manage and update all official documentation pertaining to the role, prepare reports on daily revenues, and balance and audit room revenue, food and beverage revenue, and telephone revenue.
- Cash Handling: Handle cash and credit card transactions, and maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.
- Communication: Answer calls and queries related to potential bookings, make reservations, and review previous shift work to ensure a seamless transition.
Requirements:
- Reliability: Arrive 10 minutes before shift and be punctual and reliable.
- Flexibility: Work varying schedules, including holidays and weekends, to reflect the business needs of the hotel.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with other departments to ensure the smooth operation of the hotel.
