Key Responsibilities
  • Perform and analyze routine blood, urinalysis, and coagulation procedures
  • Review and interpret results of complex scientific tests on blood and bodily fluids
  • Collaborate with physicians and laboratory management on patient data
  • Establish and monitor programs to ensure data accuracy
  • Operate, calibrate, and safeguard laboratory equipment
  • Deliver test results to physicians, researchers, and patients
  • Identify unusual results and take appropriate action to make corrections and solve problems
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in a relevant field
  • Certification in a relevant specialty or field
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
  • Florida Medical Technologist License required
  • Certified Histocompatibility Technologist/Specialist desired
