Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform various beautification projects, including maintaining flowers, pruning, and planting.
  • Conduct general grounds chores, such as weed whacking, push mowing with grass removal, leaf blowing, and overall debris removal.
  • Remove trash and debris from inside and outside facilities, including using a Gator if needed.
  • Paint and stain stand-alone objects as needed.
  • Assist in winter snow removal, using a push mower or shovel to clear entryways.
  • Clean interior and exterior facilities, including sweeping parking lots, drives, and grounds.
  • Sort and inventory materials and objects as required.
  • Collaborate with State workers to complete repairs at the facility, within Green Thumb's written limitations.
  • Report any vandalism to supervisors.
  • Ensure the flag is flying at all times.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Physical ability to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
