Key Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse in our Inpatient Oncology unit, you will:

  • Conduct thorough nursing assessments to evaluate patient health status in accordance with established protocols.
  • Develop, implement, and assess patient care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Deliver direct nursing care while supervising non-licensed staff within the scope of practice.
  • Provide education and emotional support tailored to the patient's age, culture, and condition.
  • Administer specialized treatments including chemotherapy, blood transfusions, and manage complex care needs.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A degree from an accredited nursing program.
  • A valid nursing license in the state of practice or an active compact license.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
  • Basic proficiency in computer skills.
