Job Title: Production Test Engineer

At Saab, we are seeking a highly skilled Production Test Engineer to join our team in Cranston, Rhode Island. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our electromechanical devices.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and develop test procedures and associated documentation for complex electromechanical devices.
  • Design and implement production test setups using COTS equipment and custom interfaces.
  • Develop and maintain test fixturing and equipment storage to ensure safe and effective testing.
  • Collaborate with production technicians to troubleshoot and resolve production failures.
  • Assist in the development of technical product knowledge to support production efforts.
  • Coach and train production technicians in effective testing and troubleshooting methods.
  • Assist in the setup and sustainment of production test work cells.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including test procedures and troubleshooting guides.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in complex electromechanical manufacturing environments.
  • LabVIEW experience and certification.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
