Project Supervisor Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Heavy Industry Project Supervisor to lead our construction teams and ensure project completion on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate field operations, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget while meeting quality standards and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain and manage construction schedules, including short interval production schedules. Proactively identify and resolve potential issues.
  • Order materials, schedule inspections, and manage logistics.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers, and employees to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Promote and enforce safety practices, rectify hazards, and ensure all site activities comply with safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare daily reports, safety reports, schedules, and manage the punch list for project completion.
  • Ensure that all work meets quality standards and specifications. Oversee workflows for crafts, suppliers, employees, and third-party contractors.
  • Lead and mentor field personnel and subcontractors, ensuring they adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Conduct weekly progress meetings, assist with job cost reporting, review subcontractor scopes of work, and collaborate with the Project Manager (PM) on scheduling and pre-construction planning.

The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience in heavy commercial or industrial construction, expertise in scheduling, field supervision, safety, quality control, and production throughout all construction phases.

Estimated salary: $130,000 - $190,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
