Job Summary

This position is for an Electronic Integrated Systems Mechanic with the Air National Guard Units. The successful candidate will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on one or more multi-complex electronic integrated systems. The job requires reviewing and analyzing maintenance data, determining if criteria are sufficient to provide adequate test, troubleshooting, and repair procedures, and devising and recommending tests, procedural changes, or data corrections.

Responsibilities

As an Electronic Integrated Systems Mechanic, you will troubleshoot operational malfunctions and analyze system performance utilizing aircrew debrief data, Technical Orders, schematic and wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, data analysis, common and system-specific test equipment, and built-in system tests. You will also recommend methods to improve equipment performance, technical data, and maintenance procedures by reporting hardware and software malfunctions, initiating material deficiency reports, and assisting in design changes as necessary.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a validated understanding of the basic principles and concepts of the occupational series and grade. They must also have at least 12 months of specialized experience working as an Electronic Integrated Systems Mechanic, WG-2610-12, and possess the craftsman level of knowledge and skills to install, modify, overhaul, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, align, calibrate, and rebuild multi-system avionics complexes consisting of multiple completely integrated electronic avionics systems where the complex accomplishes a number of major functions.
