Job Title: Senior Construction Project Manager

PMA Consultants is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Project Manager to manage the construction of a large-scale airline catering operations facility. The role will involve acting as the Owner's representative, overseeing overall engineering, procurement, construction management, and the coordination of all phases of the project from preconstruction through completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage all phases of the project lifecycle, including planning, preconstruction, procurement, design review, cost control, and final delivery.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for contractors, engineers, architects, and stakeholders throughout the project.
  • Implement and monitor risk management strategies, ensuring safety and compliance with local, state, federal, and aviation regulations.
  • Review and approve bid reviews, design plans, and procurement packages.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field is required.
  • 20+ years of experience managing large-scale design and construction projects, preferably in the aviation or industrial sectors.
  • Experience with complex food production facilities and catering systems is preferred.
  • Experience managing all levels of the project lifecycle, including feasibility, procurement, design, commissioning, and activation.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple high-profile projects simultaneously.
  • Expertise in strategic program/project planning, risk management, and team coordination.
  • Strong skills in managing projects with HVAC, refrigeration, and process automation systems.
  • Experience with regulatory compliance and coordinating with regulatory bodies.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with experience presenting progress reports and facilitating work sessions.
  • Proficiency in construction management software, including Microsoft Project, Procore, as well as Building Information Modeling (BIM), and project delivery methods such as CMAR.
  • Working knowledge of ORAT (Operational Readiness and Airport Transfer) processes and best practices or participation in ORAT projects is preferred.
