We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Educator to join our team at Inizio Engage. As a Clinical Nurse Educator, you will play a critical role in delivering educational support and training to healthcare professionals and office staff within oncology facilities and offices.
Key Responsibilities- Provide education through in-services to healthcare professionals and staff on product-specific information, including product information, disease state information, dosing protocols, and administration of products.
- Present educational programs to healthcare professionals in accordance with the needs of each office.
- Engage in program-related communications with client field-based sales forces.
- Communicate concerns identified during the in-service education process to the manager.
- Accurately and timely report all visits, including the type of education conducted, length of visit, and office visited.
- Report on interactions with healthcare professionals and staff.
- Complete all required administrative responsibilities in a timely manner.
- Coordinate and schedule travel to oncology offices with client sales representatives.
- Develop and strengthen relationships with key customers.
- Attend and complete all training courses and related competency assessments required by Inizio or the client.
- Attend local and national meetings and/or conferences to stay up-to-date on plans, activities, and developments.
- Maintain all company equipment and materials in accordance with company instructions.
- Comply with all Inizio policies and procedures, as well as client policies and procedures.
- Maintain professional registration and/or licensing as required by applicable state laws.
- Possess a valid US driver's license at all times and notify the company immediately of any offenses or accumulation of penalty points.
- Active nursing license in good standing in at least one state where in-services are being conducted.
- At least three years of oncology nursing experience, including direct patient care, physical assessment, patient education, group in-servicing, and proficiency in peripheral IV access.
- Chemotherapy infusion experience required.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrable organizational skills and/or previous territory management experience preferred.
- A self-starter with high personal motivation.
- Valid motor vehicle license and proof of insurance.
- Ability to travel, including overnight travel, up to 100% of the time.
- Good communication, speaking, and writing skills, with the ability to conduct one-on-one and group presentations.
- Certification in IV Therapy (CRNI) preferred.
- Adult oncology experience.
