Job Title: Recreation Program Specialist III
Job Summary:
The Recreation Program Specialist III is responsible for managing and supervising assigned recreation programs and facilities. This includes planning, organizing, and evaluating daily operations, as well as developing policies and procedures to ensure effective program delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise assigned recreation programs and facilities.
- Plan, organize, and evaluate daily operations to ensure effective program delivery.
- Develop policies and procedures to ensure effective program delivery.
- Market facilities and programs through special events, educational materials, and public presentations.
- Collect fees and other revenue for the recreation sports program and rental procedures.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all rules and regulations.
- Coordinate the work of program or facility volunteers.
- Respond to requests, complaints, and concerns from the general public.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of the principles and practices of budgetary administration.
- Knowledge of the principles and practices of recreational services programming.
- Skill in developing and implementing policies and procedures.
- Skill in problem solving and decision making.
- Skill in management and supervision.
- Skill in operating standard office equipment including work-related computer applications.
- Skill in oral and written communication.
