  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (marketing, operations, IT, and customer service) to align digital initiatives with company goals and ensure clear communication of product goals and requirements.
  • Analyze sales, customer behavior, and platform performance data to inform product decisions, optimize conversion rates, average order values, and customer retention.
  • Lead A/B testing, personalization, and other initiatives to drive continuous improvement and innovation in the eCommerce space.
  • Manage relationships with external partners (delivery platforms, payment processors, loyalty providers) to ensure seamless integration and partnership success.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and new opportunities for innovation.
  • Oversee the implementation of performance analytics and regularly report on key eCommerce metrics.
  • Act as a liaison between stakeholders and the development team to ensure projects are executed on time and deliver maximum value.
  • Champion a customer-centric approach to product development, balancing user needs with business objectives and technical constraints.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Product Owner, directly collaborating with agile software teams.
  • Experience in D2C eCommerce, with a focus on managing digital platforms that prioritize customer experience and drive revenue growth
  • Familiarity with online marketplaces like Amazon, Walmart, DoorDash, UberEats, GoldBelly, or Etsy is a plus
  • Experience in road-mapping and release planning to strategically maximize returns with each product release.
  • Experience developing detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and specifications to guide development teams in building high-quality eCommerce products.
  • Hands-on experience leading product backlog grooming sessions and prioritizing features based on business value, technical feasibility, and customer impact.
Essential Competencies:
  • Customer-Centric Mindset: Deep understanding of customer behavior and needs in an eCommerce setting. Focuses on delivering solutions that improve user satisfaction and retention.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Uses analytics and data to drive decisions and prioritize product features, always with an eye on optimizing performance and conversion rates.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Effectively works with cross-functional teams to align digital initiatives with company goals. Excels at clearly articulating the product vision and gaining buy-in from stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving & Innovation: Quickly identifies opportunities for improving the customer journey and resolving issues that arise in digital operations, with a strong focus on innovation.
  • Agility & Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced start-up like environment and can adjust priorities as the business evolves or new insights emerge.
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable working with development teams and understanding the technical aspects of eCommerce platforms, APIs, and third-party integrations.
What We Offer:

  • The stability and resources of an industry-leading company successfully operating for 25 years, with the agility and innovation of a startup, allowing you to make a significant impact and shape our future.
