Loan Operations Specialist

Network ESC is seeking a highly skilled Loan Operations Analyst to join our team in Manhattan. As a key member of our Loan Operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of loan transactions and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:- Capture and process credit-related transactions and payments in our ATLAS system, maintaining operational ledgers and files in accordance with our bank's policy.
- Handle domestic loan administrative work, including preparing information sheets, processing payments, and verifying instructions from agent banks and/or lending front office.
- Process non-routine loan activities, such as purchases, refinancing, amendments, terminations, and sales, establishing new customers and facilities in our Loantel/Nicotel, ATLAS, and Loan Management Systems as needed.
- Monitor and apply incoming fees and interest payments, investigating cash discrepancies and claiming compensation when necessary.
- Ensure accurate recording of cash movements on our Cash Position Sheet and report to relevant departments according to procedure.
- Prepare various information sheets, tickets, and confirmation forms for JCF transactions based on written instructions.
- Handle back-office operations for bonds acquired by our Lending Group, including capturing new bond products, processing purchase, sale, redemption, and coupon payments, and timely funding of floating bonds.
- Prepare reports as requested by supervisors and report irregularities in a timely manner.
- High school diploma required.
- 2+ years of experience in loan operations in a bank, with bilateral loans and syndicated loans experience required, and agency deal experience highly desirable.
- Basic accounting knowledge and good mathematical aptitude.
- Proficiency with PC in business-related applications, including Microsoft Outlook Email and Calendar, Word, and Excel.
- Good communication skills and time management, including punctuality and attendance.
