Job Title: Automotive Technician / Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician / Mechanic to join our team at Christian Brothers Automotive. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair vehicles using advanced diagnostic equipment and techniques
  • Continuously build experience as an automotive mechanic across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles
  • Complete thorough and accurate courtesy vehicle inspections
  • Work collaboratively with the service department to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly and effectively
  • Follow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization
  • Communicate effectively with guests and colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery

Qualifications:

  • Positive attitude and a desire to serve guests
  • 3+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
  • ASE Certifications preferred, or a plan to achieve
  • Ability to diagnose and repair all makes/models of vehicles
  • Meet or exceed hourly goals
  • Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
  • Professional appearance and strong communication skills

Physical Requirements:

  • Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds
  • Ability to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
  • Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair
  • Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools
  • Walk/stand for the majority of their workday
  • Drive manual transmissions vehicles
  • Efficiently navigate a computer
