Job Description

Pinnacle Services is seeking a full-time Direct Support Professional Lead for our evening shifts of 2pm-10pm at our residential sites in Chaska.

Job Summary:

The Direct Support Professional Lead will assist persons served with developmental disability, mental health diagnoses, and behavioral issues in a residential setting, providing support and encouragement to work towards outcomes/goals to gain life skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Meal Planning and Preparation: Plan and prepare meals for individuals served, ensuring a balanced and nutritious diet.
  • Facilitation of Community Activities: Facilitate community activities, such as outings and events, using company vehicles to transport individuals served.
  • Personal and Medical Care: Assist with personal and medical care, including helping with dressing, bathing, and other daily living tasks.
  • Behavior Management: Implement behavior management strategies to support individuals served in achieving their goals and outcomes.
  • Medication Administration: Administer medications to individuals served, as prescribed by their healthcare provider.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the Program Manager or Program Director, as needed.
Requirements:
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, mental health diagnoses, and/or behavioral health support needs, preferably in a 245D setting.
  • Driver's License and Insurance: Current driver's license, current auto insurance, reliable transportation, and an acceptable driving record, as determined by Pinnacle Services policy.
  • Age and Background Check: Must be 18 years or older and successfully pass a background check.
