DC/DC Power System and Application Engineer

We are seeking a talented and motivated DC/DC power system and application engineer to join our strong and fast-moving team at Reed Semiconductor Corp.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with system engineers to generate silicon validation reports for new silicon.
  • Develop Evaluation Modules (EVMs) for comprehensive testing.
  • Research and craft reference schematics based on customer application scenarios.
  • Assist customers in optimizing DC/DC solutions through design reviews and bench validations for successful design outcomes.
  • Conduct training sessions for field teams (FAEs) and customers, emphasizing robust design practices for first PCBA success, with optional on-site support during initial bring-up.
  • Identify customer challenges, collect market feedback, and collaborate with the design/system team to implement improvements in the next generation of DC/DC solutions.
  • Write technical documents such as Datasheets, Application notes, EVM user's guide.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field of study.
  • Knowledge of high-density power converter topologies and control methods in power supplies.
  • Experience in schematic and PCB creation.
