We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Specialist to join our team at Froedtert Hospital. As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing direct nursing care to patients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:- Plan, organize, and coordinate patient care to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Monitor and assess patient condition, identifying potential complications and taking prompt action to prevent or mitigate them.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote health and wellness.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current unrestricted Wisconsin RN license.
- At least one year of experience in medical-surgical nursing, with a preference for critical care or emergency department experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
