Control Systems Automation Specialist

About the Company

Role Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the General Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and maintaining control systems for semi-automated processing machinery.
- Ensuring compliance with NFPA 79 certification standards.
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to electrical and mechanical instruments.
- Repairing and maintaining both production and research & development equipment.
- Upgrading and sustaining existing process control systems.
- Designing and fabricating process fixtures.
- Developing and implementing innovative process control systems.
- Training technicians on the operation of equipment.
- Overseeing the Maintenance Program.
- Managing the Calibration Program.
- Creating and documenting training procedures.
- Producing and managing production support drawings.
- Ensuring optimal equipment performance.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- 3-5+ years of experience in designing automated equipment.
- Proven experience in vacuum manufacturing or vacuum automation.
- Knowledge of National Instruments Hardware.
- Familiarity with LABVIEW, SolidWorks, or Fusion 360.
- Experience with engineering documentation.
