Job Summary

Lumos Networks is seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning Manager to join our Strategic Finance Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting business operations and contributing to projects that drive financial planning and analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monthly Operating Report assembly
  • Cost of revenue, and operational expense reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Opening and managing capital projects in the company ERP system
  • Accurately calculate and clearly communicate commission amounts to internal teams and submit to payroll teams once approved
  • Effectively resolve commission inquiries from Sales Team
  • Ad hoc reporting and analysis
Requirements
  • Advanced MS Office Suite knowledge and usage; must have the ability to learn and work in internal company applications
  • Experience with month end Financial Reporting and variance analysis
  • Advanced analytical skills; must be able to work through complex issues with a methodical approach; analyzing complex issues, distilling and communicating relevant aspects
  • High degree of comfort when working with large amounts of data from multiple sources
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to work with cross functional groups
  • Strong project and time management skills required to efficiently move between multiple, concurrent projects
  • Organizational skills, change management mindset, proactively drive process improvement, passion for developing and supporting peers, strategic thinking and execution, problem solving, emotional intelligence & passion for learning
