Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and Service Resident Rooms: Ensure all resident rooms, bathrooms, and offices are clean and well-maintained, including dusting furniture and equipment, cleaning windows and mirrors, and emptying trash baskets.
  • Maintain Floor Care: Clean, mop, and treat floors, and strip, wax, and buff floors as needed. Vacuum all carpet and shampoo as directed.
  • Operate Cleaning Equipment: Mix and dilute housekeeping chemicals and products according to instructions, and move furniture as needed to ensure safe and efficient cleaning.
  • Perform Minor Repairs: Make minor repairs and adjustments, replace light bulbs, and repair clogged sinks, commodes, or drains.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Minimum one year of related experience in housekeeping or a related field.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally, and walk and stand for prolonged periods.
  • Knowledge and Skills: In-depth understanding of housekeeping operations, basic knowledge of cleaning devices and agents, and sanitation/cleaning requirements.
