Job Title:

Cardiovascular Sonographer Job Specialty:

Job Description:

  • Deliver exceptional patient care, including preprocedure and postprocedure assessment, care, and emergency cardiac care.
  • Assist with patient transport and ensure equipment is properly maintained.
  • Perform daily equipment calibration and quality assurance monitoring, troubleshooting and reporting any issues.
  • Generate high-quality ultrasound images of the heart and vascular structures.
  • Provide staff training and education, and maintain accurate patient records.
  • Compile and enter data for charge entry and prepare reports.
  • Retrieve stored information and reports from the automated system.
  • Prepare procedure rooms and equipment for daily use.


Requirements:

Must-Have:
Accredited Associate's Degree in Sonography, Radiology, or a related field, or completion of a twelve-month ultrasound program.

Required Certifications:
RDCS certified through ARDMS or RCS, ACS, and RCCS certified through CCI.
