About the Job

The South Branch Inn is seeking a skilled and motivated Prep Cook to join our culinary team. As a Prep Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen by preparing ingredients, cooking meals, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare ingredients and cook meals to meet the needs of our kitchen
  • Assist with food preparation, including washing, chopping, and measuring ingredients
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces
  • Assist with inventory management, including stocking and labeling ingredients
  • Follow all food safety guidelines and procedures
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Able to work quickly and accurately under pressure
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 40 pounds
