As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a critical role in enabling students to develop communication skills needed to achieve their maximum academic and social potential.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students with communicative disorders to identify areas of strength and weakness.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans to meet the unique needs of each student receiving therapy services.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and other school personnel to facilitate carry-over of therapy gains into classroom activities.
- Provide information, support, and guidance to parents/guardians and families to ensure they are informed and involved in their child's education.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of student progress and therapy services provided.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- Valid South Carolina teaching certification or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire.
- Experience working with students with communicative disorders and their families.
The Speech Language Pathologist will work in a dynamic and supportive environment with a team of dedicated professionals. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively with diverse cultures and backgrounds, demonstrate professionalism and appropriate judgment in behavior, speech, and dress, and have regular and punctual attendance.
