About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Professional Nurse to join our team in the Operating Room. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in the Operating Room, ensuring a safe and efficient environment.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Monitor patients' conditions and respond to any changes or concerns, taking prompt action to address any issues that may arise.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest medical advancements and best practices.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of full-time experience as a RN post-orientation or post-residency training.
  • Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
  • Other REQUIRED cardiopulmonary resuscitation certifications (ACLS, NRP, PALS, etc.) are unit specific. Please refer to the specific clinical unit.
  • Please refer to the specific clinical unit for additional education, competencies and/or certification required as a condition of employment.
  • Other REQUIRED RN attributes are unit specific. Please refer to the specific clinical unit.

Preferred Qualifications

  • BSN degree preferred
  • National Certification in Clinical Specialty preferred
