Junior Embryologist

We are seeking a dedicated Junior Embryologist to contribute to our reproductive health initiatives at HFI-Assure Fertility Partners of Houston. This role requires collaboration with the Laboratory Director, Supervisor, and fellow team members to ensure the highest standards of embryology practices.

• Independently manage embryology tasks such as egg retrievals, embryo transfers, Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection, Assisted Hatching, sperm preparation, embryo culturing, and monitoring.
• Conduct semen analyses, including assessments of sperm count, motility, morphology, and viability using manual microscopic techniques.
• Engage in Laboratory Operations as assigned.
• Maintain precise and up-to-date records of cryopreservation activities, ensuring accurate documentation of donor and autologous frozen sperm specimens.
• Document patient care services meticulously in patient and departmental records.
• Exhibit a strong aptitude for laboratory services and demonstrate a commitment to learning and adhering to established procedures.
• Work independently while exercising sound judgment in laboratory settings.
• Utilize computer systems for data access, input, and retrieval effectively.
• Possess knowledge of office procedures and equipment, including computers and fax machines.
• Foster effective communication with colleagues.

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant scientific field.
• 3-4 years of experience in a human IVF laboratory setting.
• Availability to participate in a rotating schedule for weekend and holiday coverage.
