Job Overview
The Systems Analyst will play a crucial role in understanding business objectives and challenges, identifying alternative solutions, and conducting studies and cost/benefit analyses of various options.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze user requirements, procedures, and challenges to automate processes or enhance existing computer systems.
- Collaborate with personnel from various organizational units to evaluate current operational procedures, identify issues, and gather specific input and output requirements, including data input forms and report formats.
- Draft detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and the steps necessary to develop or modify computer programs.
- Assess computer system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling constraints to determine the feasibility of requested programs or modifications within the existing system.
Additional Responsibilities
- Serve as a key member of the team responsible for all Middleware activities between operations management and applications.
- Coordinate all release and maintenance schedules related to Middleware servers and the applications they host.
- When issues arise within the operational ecosystem, assess problems, communicate with management, and lead the efforts for necessary fixes.
- Provide architectural guidance on technical implementations, schedules, automation, and task division within the Middleware Team.
- Support core applications both on-premise and those migrated to cloud services.
CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Requirements:

Experience Requirements:
- 5 years: Required experience in installing, deploying, configuring, and administering WebSphere ND clusters/cells on Red Hat Enterprise Linux, including upgrades and patches.
- 5 years: Required experience in tuning large, complex Java-based web applications in a Service-Oriented Architecture.
- 5 years: Required experience in troubleshooting large, complex Java-based web applications in a Service-Oriented Architecture.
- 5 years: Required knowledge and application of DevOps and CI/CD methodologies, with experience automating stages of the DevOps infinity loop model.
- 4 years: Required experience in creating pipelines in Jenkins to automate WebSphere Application Server configurations.
- 4 years: Required experience in creating Red Hat Ansible Platform playbooks for automating WebSphere Application Server installations and deployments.
- 4 years: Required experience with various scripting methodologies, including UNIX, Jython, YAML, and JSON.
- 4 years: Required knowledge of Java and all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- 4 years: Required use of Application Performance Management tools such as DynaTrace and Splunk.
- 3 years: Preferred experience with IBM Business Automation Workflow.
- 2 years: Preferred experience with IBM Operational Decision Manager.
- 1 year: Preferred experience with IBM DataPower.
- 1 year: Preferred experience with Adobe Experience Manager.
- 1 year: Preferred experience with AWS solution architecture and management.
