Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that meet the needs of patients, adhering to facility and department policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and complete records, including daily scheduling and billing.
  • Collaborate with Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) to delegate and oversee treatments.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) approved Occupational Therapy program with successful completion of supervised fieldwork.
  • Current or eligible for New York State Occupational Therapist (OTR) license.
  • BLS certification required through the RQI system during clinical orientation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • One to two years of experience in occupational therapy.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products and electronic medical records.
