Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join our team at Lockheed Martin Corporation. As a key member of our Ground Systems Development (GSD) Systems Engineering (SE) team, you will play a critical role in the development of the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain systems models and simulations to support the THAAD Fire Control and Communications (TFCC) design
  • Analyze performance and support verification of the TFCC system
  • Develop battle plans to support weapon system testing and field deployments
  • Support flight test performance analysis and issue resolution
  • Develop and maintain analysis scripts
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or higher degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • Experience using or developing systems models or simulations to perform system trade studies, requirements decomposition, performance predictions, and algorithm prototype development
  • Scripting language experience (e.g., MATLAB, C, C++, etc.)
Desired Skills
  • Knowledge and application of systems engineering processes across the full product life cycle
  • Knowledge of Missile Defense Concepts and Interoperability or other Command and Control systems
  • Systems Engineering or related experience/education in concept of operations, system architecting, requirements definition, decomposition, or working with requirements documents
