Civil Design Engineer

At Synerfac, we are seeking a skilled Civil Design Engineer to join our team in Raleigh. As a key member of our multi-discipline team, you will be responsible for designing construction document drawing sets for civil infrastructure projects, including site utility systems and projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop construction document drawing sets for civil infrastructure projects
  • Design and lay out underground utilities, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations
  • Collaborate with our in-house civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers to deliver high-quality projects
  • Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to create accurate and detailed designs
  • Conduct site visits to verify existing conditions and inspect construction progress, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Work closely with our team of PEs and designers to receive dedicated software, engineering, and design training


Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on utility/site design projects
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, with a strong foundation in mathematics and physics
  • Proven experience with Civil 3D, with a strong understanding of its capabilities and limitations
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions
