Job Overview

The Laboratory Support Specialist is responsible for performing specimen collection by venipuncture and capillary puncture, labeling, and processing. They verify the accuracy and quality of collected specimens, dispatch them to testing locations, and train others in these techniques.

Requirements

A high school graduate or equivalent is required for this position. EKG training through an accredited organization is preferred.

Work Environment

This role is based at Outpatient Care East (0837) with varying shifts available.

Compensation

An estimated salary range for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
