As an Optical Manufacturing Specialist at National Vision, you will play a critical role in the production of high-quality lenses and frames. This is a dynamic and varied position that requires attention to detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Bench/Mounters: Insert lenses into frames using specialized tools and techniques, ensuring accurate and precise results.
- Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of frames and lenses to ensure they meet ANSI standards and are free from defects.
- Surface: Perform various surface treatments, including taping, blocking, generating, and polishing, to prepare lenses for coating.
- AR: Operate the AR Coating Machine, load and unload lenses, and perform quality control checks to ensure compliance with ANSI standards.
- Stockroom: Manage inventory, print orders, and prepare lenses and frames for processing.
- Shipping: Prepare and ship completed orders, ensuring accurate tracking and documentation.
We offer two shift options:
- Sunday - Tuesday, 4:00 pm - 4:30 am
- Wednesday - Friday, 4:00 pm - 4:30 am
