Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Regional One Health is a leading medical institution that attracts top talent in the field. We are currently seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Emergency Department team for night shift responsibilities.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide high-quality patient care, working under the direct supervision of a physician, to assess, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic health issues.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, perform history and physicals, and evaluate patient responses to therapy in collaboration with attending physicians.
- Stay up-to-date with coding and billing parameters governing patient care by Nurse Practitioners in the State of Tennessee.
- Ensure accurate completion of regulatory documents and other forms in accordance with institutional guidelines.
Requirements:
- Active Tennessee License/Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, including Certification and prescriptive authority.
- PALS and ACLS Certification.
- 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (Preferred).
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and FDA guidelines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- An interest in teaching is a plus.
Physical Demands: Constant walking, standing, lifting, and positioning patients/equipment. Exposure to infectious agents. Visual acuity is necessary to assess color changes. Heavy Work - Exerting up to 150 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 75 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 30 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
