Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Overnight Safety and Security Officer to join our team at The St. Regis Longboat Key Resort. As a key member of our Loss Prevention and Security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests and employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patrol all areas of the property to prevent and detect potential security threats
  • Assist guests with room access and respond to emergencies
  • Monitor CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and fire safety systems
  • Conduct daily physical hazard inspections and report any safety concerns
  • Respond to accidents, contact emergency services, and administer first aid as needed
  • Assist guests and employees during emergency situations and provide support as required
  • Complete incident reports and maintain confidentiality of all security-related documents
  • Conduct investigations and gather evidence as needed
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • No related work experience necessary, but a strong background in security or law enforcement is preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
