Position Summary:

  • Deliver professional counseling services to military personnel and their families as an integrated counselor assigned to a specific military unit.
  • Provide non-clinical, short-term counseling, educational presentations, and advisory support to the leadership regarding mental health matters.
  • Work in partnership with commanders and unit members to meet the needs of the brigade or regiment.
  • Address urgent situations, respond to surges, and fulfill special requests as required.

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in a field related to Mental Health.
  • Possession of a valid, unrestricted counseling license from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of two years of counseling experience post-licensure.
  • Proficient in engaging and communicating effectively with military families and service members.
  • Successful completion of background checks and acquisition of necessary clearances.
