About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Quality Engineer to join our Connected Technologies Department. As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for evaluating and launching Connected Services and Multimedia/Telematics products for Lexus and Toyota vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and ensure quality for new next-generation multimedia and telematics with a focus on multimedia hardware and platform.
  • Communicate and negotiate with internal stakeholders.
  • Support post-launch quality assurance activities.
  • Identify issues/barriers influencing the overall project schedule and make recommendations to recover utilizing risk management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Robotics engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical engineering, or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering or related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in the automotive field focused on telematics services and products.
