Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with department managers, finance, and purchasing to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure timely and cost-effective repairs.
  • Monitor and analyze fleet maintenance costs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing cost-saving measures.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental policies, and other relevant standards.
  • Develop and implement training programs for fleet maintenance personnel to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., business, engineering, or a related field) or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in fleet management or a related field, with a proven track record of success.
  • APWA Certified Public Fleet Professional certification or willingness to obtain within 2 years.
  • Valid TN driver's license with a clear driving record.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
