About This Role

This Stationary Engineer position is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the success of Temple University Hospital. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our facilities, including maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of equipment and systems.

What You Will Do

Your primary responsibilities as a Stationary Engineer will include:

  • Maintenance and repair of equipment and systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems;
  • Performing routine inspections and tests to identify potential issues and prevent equipment failure;
  • Responding to emergency situations and resolving them in a timely and effective manner;
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless operations and minimize downtime;
  • Developing and implementing preventive maintenance plans to reduce equipment failure and extend lifespan.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent;
  • At least 2 years of experience in maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) or a related field;
  • Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair;
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team;
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
