Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Avenue5 Residential. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the day-to-day maintenance operations and physical upkeep of our properties are conducted in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee and coordinate maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and preventative maintenance.
- Supervise and train maintenance staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify potential maintenance issues and develop plans to address them.
- Manage maintenance budgets and ensure that expenses are within allocated limits.
- Develop and implement maintenance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as property management and leasing, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred.
- At least three years of experience in maintenance or a related field, with a minimum of two years in a supervisory role.
- Proven track record of successfully managing maintenance teams and budgets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
