Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Orthopaedic Clinical Support Specialist to join our team at Orthopaedic Solutions Management. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will provide exceptional patient care and administrative support to our physicians and patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Excellent Patient Care: Deliver outstanding customer service to patients, visitors, and coworkers, ensuring a positive and professional experience.
  • Organize and Coordinate: Manage patient charts, ensure accurate and timely documentation, and maintain a secure and organized workspace.
  • Support Clinical Operations: Prepare patient charts, retrieve digital images, and ensure zones are adequately stocked with medical supplies and equipment.
  • Assist Physicians: Escort patients to exam rooms, complete patient intake documentation, and assist with injections and office procedures.
  • Prepare Prescriptions and Documents: Prepare prescriptions, excuse notes, referrals, and patient education materials, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain Confidentiality: Ensure the safety and security of all Protected Health Information (PHI) in accordance with state and federal HIPAA regulations.
  • Perform Administrative Tasks: Answer phone calls, respond to voicemails, and maintain physician schedules, files, and correspondence.
  • Provide Excellent Communication: Liaise between physicians and patients, triage patient calls, and facilitate patient interaction with other departments.
  • Other Duties: Perform other administrative and clinical tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a clinical or administrative role preferred.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
