Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled AAS Associate to join our Accounting Advisory Services team. As a key member of our team, you will provide leadership and support to clients, working closely with partners and other team members to deliver exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledgers, journals, and accounts payable/receivable.
  • Month-End Closing Activities: Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures, including reconciliations, accruals, and adjusting entries.
  • Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for management review.
  • Software Proficiency: Utilize accounting software and tools proficiently and contribute to system improvements and upgrades.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
  • Ad Hoc Projects: Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by management, contributing accounting expertise and support.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external parties, providing clear and concise financial information and assistance.
  • Professional Development: Stay up to date on accounting standards, regulations, and industry trends through continuous learning and professional development activities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 2+ Years of Client Accounting Advisory Experience
  • Strong Understanding of General Ledger Accounting
  • Excellent Written and Oral Communication Skills
  • Ability to Work Quickly and Accurately with Attention to Detail
  • Time Management and Multitasking Skills
  • Strong Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking Skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with or Interest in Working with Customers
