Job Summary:

The Porter is a key member of our facilities team, responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our client's building. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Service all public and operating spaces throughout the building, ensuring a clean and safe environment for occupants and visitors.
  • Facilitate the maintenance of plaza and/or parking garage areas, including sweeping, cleaning, and restocking supplies as needed.
  • Keep elevator cars clean and neat, and preserve the lobby and first impression areas to create a positive impression for visitors.
  • Uphold the exterior of the building, including cleaning windows, sweeping sidewalks, and removing snow and ice as needed.
  • Maintain restroom cleanliness, check and restock all restroom products, and police building grounds to ensure a safe and secure environment.
  • Police the dock, stairwells, and other areas of the building to prevent accidents and maintain a clean and organized environment.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year Porter experience
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
  • Ability to conduct face-to-face discussions with individuals or groups at all professional levels
  • Work in close proximity to others and work outdoors in all changing weather conditions
