The Registered Nurse (RN) will deliver care in accordance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, addressing the physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs of patients. The Staff RN is responsible for providing patient care based on established standards, policies, and procedures.
Key Duties:- Evaluate and assess patient care for a designated group of patients, employing evidence-based practices.
- Assist healthcare providers with patient assessments, examinations, and treatments.
- Perform basic medical procedures under supervision, including preparation for procedures.
- Administer medications as directed by the healthcare provider, adhering to organizational standards.
- Provide assistance during emergency situations as directed by the healthcare provider.
- Educate patients and their families about procedures, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in compliance with documentation standards.
- Assume accountability for care provided by other licensed and unlicensed caregivers as necessary.
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
- Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Ohio.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- Proven ability to organize and manage patient care, including supervision of team members.
- Basic computer proficiency; experience with electronic medical records preferred.
