Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Aquatics Assistant Swim Team Coach to join our team at Life Time. As an Aquatics Assistant Swim Team Coach, you will be responsible for helping our Swim Team members improve their swimming skills in our state-of-the-art recreational and lap pools. You will work closely with the Head Swim Team Coach to develop and lead Swim Team Group Workouts, register new participants, and maintain the cleanliness and order of our Aquatics Facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead daily practices under the direction of the Head Swim Team Coach
  • Provide competitive swimmers with the opportunity to master technique
  • Promote Life Time products, services, and programs

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 year of swim coaching experience
  • Member of ASCA
  • Member of USA Swimming
  • CPR/AED certification required
  • Lifeguard Certification within 60 days of hire
  • Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the club for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to communicate and exchange information with guests who have inquiries about Life Time products and services
  • Ability to swim 25 yards/meters without stopping
  • Ability to routinely bend to raise 20 lbs or less and occasionally bend to raise more than 20lbs

Preferred Requirements

  • ASCA Level 1 Certification or higher
