Position Overview:
The primary responsibility of the Janitor is to maintain a clean and organized environment within the facility. This role involves performing thorough cleaning tasks, including but not limited to floor maintenance, wall washing, and waste disposal.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure cleanliness of club floors through sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
- Restock all restroom supplies, including those in locker rooms.
- Sanitize all restroom facilities, including toilets, showers, and sinks.
- Collect and dispose of trash from all areas of the club.
- Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces.
- Dust and wipe down furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
- Monitor security and safety by locking doors after hours.
- Request necessary cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Perform other miscellaneous tasks as required.
Job Requirements:
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Prior experience in custodial or cleaning roles.
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment and chemicals, including safe handling practices.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
- Requires bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Effective communication skills with guests and staff, including reading, writing, and speaking.
