Therapy Tree is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist to provide invaluable support to students in schools through our staffing services. As a SLP, you will work collaboratively with educators and other professionals to assess and treat students with speech and language disorders.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders in students.
  • Participate in team discussions around student eligibility based on assessment results and additional data from other team members.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans to address communication challenges and support progress towards student goals.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate speech therapy goals into the overall educational plan.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings, using evidence-based techniques.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress, assessments, and treatment plans.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable insights to the multidisciplinary team.
  • Stay informed about current research and trends in speech-language pathology to enhance the quality of services provided.
  • Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills with students, colleagues, and parents.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid Arizona Department of Education licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Valid Arizona Department of Health Services licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • ASHA certification preferred.
  • Previous experience working in a school setting is desirable.
  • Ability to adapt to diverse educational environments and collaborate effectively with various professionals.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Reliable transportation to travel between school locations, if indicated.
