Kaiser Permanente is seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our Imaging Services department, you will be responsible for producing high-quality ultrasonic recordings of internal organs to aid in diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxiety and obtain cooperation
  • Prepare and position patients for examination
  • Select and adjust equipment according to examination specifications
  • Start equipment and record diagnostic data
  • Monitor and adjust ultrasonic patterns to ensure optimal quality
  • Photograph and document images of internal organs
  • Enter test data and patient information into computer systems
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification or equivalent required
  • 1+ year of experience in ultrasound technology or related field preferred
