Key Responsibilities- Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxiety and obtain cooperation
- Prepare and position patients for examination
- Select and adjust equipment according to examination specifications
- Start equipment and record diagnostic data
- Monitor and adjust ultrasonic patterns to ensure optimal quality
- Photograph and document images of internal organs
- Enter test data and patient information into computer systems
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification or equivalent required
- 1+ year of experience in ultrasound technology or related field preferred
